Grant Edward Miller

Grant is a retired Grade 6 French Immersion Teacher and Author, living in a small town in rural Nova Scotia, Canada. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Grant has lived in many of the major cities in Canada but has decided to call Nova Scotia his home to enjoy his retirement. In 2023, Grant self-published his first novel, Life-Line: Origins, and is working on the following two books in the gay science fiction series. Writing has become the ultimate creative exploration in his life. He loves to relax and unwind in the kitchen after working on his writing and doing all the around-the-house jobs he never had time to do before he retired. Grant enjoys exercise and has many varied hobbies and activities he is pursuing as a retiree. Grant’s 62 years on this planet have been filled with what he calls speed bumps, barriers, and roadblocks that have gotten in his way as he navigates his life as a gay man from the 1980s until now. Encountering these hurdles has caused him to find a way to grow and become a more authentically creative gay man. His favourite saying is “Carpe diem” as he explores what will come as he continues his new stage in his creative life.
