Our original inspiration for our gourmet sauces was inspired over 30 years ago on vacation in St. John, U.S.V.I. with great friends. It was the first time ever to sample Caribbean based sauces with heat - and we were hooked!
Ron and I have worked together for 27 + years and decided to form a partnership to take the inspiration to the next level and created Klowns On Fire! LLC.
Entering our first competition in August 2017 we have now amassed 99 “Nationally Recognized” awards in just over 8.5 years. To date, every one of our sauces that have been available to enter in a competition has won multiple awards. All awards received are primarily judged on flavor, texture and appearance and we believe we have mastered this goal and more with all our offerings.
What differentiates our brand from other offerings?
Klowns On Fire takes the world’s hottest peppers and leverages the flavor of the peppers that are smoky and fruity (Carolina Reaper) or fruity and stingy (Dragon’s Breath) to a level that is
palatable to consumers and can be enjoyed with their food of choice. This allows the larger consumer audience to appreciate very hot peppers that would normally not be favorable or only specific to hotter market segments.
We are already commercially packed, FDA approved, and donate annually to veterans and animal rescue charities.
