Imani Black Profile Photo

Photographer/Videographer/Creative Director

Imani Black is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist, creative director, and curator based in Dallas, Texas. Known for her bold visual storytelling and unapologetic voice, Imani’s work spans photography, video, curation, and experiential production—each piece layered with intention, identity, and emotion.

Her creative journey began through photography, where she quickly gained recognition for her ability to capture raw beauty, movement, and mood. Over time, she expanded into curating exhibitions and producing community-rooted projects, including the acclaimed Cyber Dallas, an immersive art experience in partnership with Dallas College and FGIII Fine Art Productions. Her work has been featured on Good Morning Texas, celebrated in public art installations, and honored by the American Advertising Federation (32 Under 32, 2022).

Imani’s creativity is rooted in transformation. A proud Scorpio and storyteller at heart, she sees art as a form of liberation—uncovering truth, sparking connection, and building legacy. Her projects often center Black identity, feminine power, and digital aesthetics, blending strategic vision with soulful execution.

Now in a season of reinvention, Imani is focused on elevating her production company, exploring painting and film, and growing her footprint across creative direction, consulting, and multimedia storytelling. She creates to make space—not just for herself, but for others to be seen, heard, and remembered.
