Artist and Death Doula
Tammy McNary is an artist, death doula, practitioner, and advocate based in Dallas, Texas. She is the founder of True Death Experience, where she offers holistic end-of-life support grounded in autonomy, guidance, and care. Tammy facilitates two Death Cafes in Dallas and is co-founder and steward of Death Collective North Texas, a community of death workers and allies dedicated to fostering connection and expanding public awareness around death and dying. With a background as a teaching artist and a commitment to creative expression, Tammy brings art and ritual into her end-of-life practice. She is currently preparing to offer The Mortality Experience, a guided death meditation that invites participants into reflection and reverence for life’s impermanence.
