A recent transplant to Plano, Texas, Bonnie Daneker has been sharing stories for more than 20 years as a publisher, book coach, and writer. She has lived and worked in many cities in the US and abroad. During her time in Atlanta, she established Georgia’s first publishing advisory firm to help clients write books. Through her various companies, she has managed over 120 book-client projects.

As a working author, she has written/co-written multiple works including: It’s in There! (the story of Prego® spaghetti sauce, featured on the HISTORY® Channel’s Foods That Built America®); The Compassionate Caregiver™ series (whose content was featured on Caring.com); and One Man’s Quest To Keep You Safe, used in food engineering classes at The Ohio State University. 

Before her time in publishing, she worked in technology consulting, also creating startups in medical education and apparel. She has earned a BA in Journalism from The Ohio State University, an MBA in Strategic Planning and Entrepreneurship from Goizueta Business School at Emory University, and the Sustainability Associate Certification from ISSP.

As a graduate of the Modern Elder Academy, she is excited about the transitions accompanying a creative’s midlife. In addition to leading The Author’s Greenhouse, she serves as a Member on the Board of Directors of The Plano Symphony, and as an Ambassador to the Center for Visual Art and Design at UNT.
